Privacy
Kritelo does not have accounts. Don't put your name, email, phone number, or anyone else's personal details in the description or in a price report. If you do, that text is stored with the result.
What is stored
- The description, after links and markup are removed, and the toggles you set.
- The stack, the reasons, the database version, and the model name.
- A thumbs rating or a price report, if you send one.
- A click on a tool link: the tool, the time, whether it was an affiliate link, and the country header the host provides. The IP address is used for rate limiting and is not written into the click row.
Who else sees it
If a model provider is configured, the description and the candidate tools are sent to that provider so it can classify and write reasons. Prices and affiliate terms are not included. With the default mock provider, nothing leaves the server.
Results, clicks, and feedback are stored in Supabase when that project is configured. Without it, they stay in the memory of the running server and disappear on restart.
Hosting analytics, if you turn them on at the host, are separate. This repository does not add a tracking script. Affiliate networks may set their own cookies after you arrive on their site. That happens on their domain, not here.
How long
The intention is to keep raw descriptions for up to 12 months and then delete them. There is no automatic deletion job in this version. Share pages are not indexed by the site's robots file.
This is a plain description of the MVP, not a legal opinion. If you are in the EU, UK, or elsewhere with a privacy law that applies, the operator of the deployed site needs to confirm this text before launch.
